Heads up for the younger generation.
Calling a crone/ elderly person "cute" is in my opinion a insult .
I know it's meant as a term of endearment, I however struggle with it.
They are far from cute to me, the definition of cute is "ugly but interesting "
I know it's just a word , but I'm hearing it heaps in regards to the elderly.
Serious ? How about :
They have lived, loved and lost.
The wisdom that comes with age , is invaluable.
They are not children , which the term is usually reserved for.
Spend time with a elderly person ,listen and you may learn a thing or two.
Another heads up - if I make into my 80's or 90's and I happen to go into care, like a nursing home.
If someone calls me cute- fair warning,
I'll throw a fucking chair at you !
It's the New moon today and a perfect time for setting intentions for the coming month. There is so much info on the web about New moon Rituals.
It's not meant to be hard or epic (unless that floats your boat)
It can be a simple prayer, staring at the great beyound.
The older I get, the more I feel less inclined to use "tools"
My body is a tool, (Yes, I am openly admitting I'm a TOOL haha ) that's all I need.
Sitting my ass on the grass and contemplating that last month , before setting intentions for the coming month.
Just being aware of the sounds ,smells and earth beneath my ass.
Honouring the sky above me and feeling the bliss
That's my New moon ritual :)
It’s really up to you to come up with a blessing/intention that has meaning for you, instead of trying to follow any set guidelines.
You’re the one that knows your soul best, go with it and feel the love.
