Ahhhh Yes ..Time again to start winding down. I started early this year around October/November.
At some point I think we all need to honour when we need a break or rest. However painful to acknowledge, especially when people rely on you.
You might feel selfish,Feel beholden or have a sense duty to keep going. In the end , there comes a point...when you just can't.
The tank is empty and to keep going cause's the motor to cough and splutter.
How do you keep going when ya got nothing left to give?
Well in my experience, my body manifests physical symptoms : In short I get sick, because I keep going and to my own detriment.
I hate letting people down especially around healing's.
The ironic thing is my spirit tells me to "stop" of course at times I stubbornly refuse to listen !
There is nothing worse than being a sick, ungrounded Healer, for the person receiving and for me in regards to holding the space.
The old mantra "Healer, Heal thyself" springs to mind.
If you truly Honour this work, a part of it is honouring yourself when you know, you just can't.
It's deep work, shadow, light and everything else inbetween.
These days however, I'm really honouring it with no regrets or guilt attached.
Several Bat's flew into my dreams last night, they bit me (no pain or scary stuff) and melded into my body. It was lovely !! They called me into the cave of peace and rest, to nourish and rejuvenate.
Stillness, dissolve, healing, Inhale, exhale, release ,flowing, winding the spiral back to self.
