"I woke up this morning with the sundown shining in
I found my mind in a brown paper bag but then
I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in
I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in
I watched myself crawling out as I was a-crawling in
I got up so tight I couldn't unwind
I saw so much I broke my mind
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in"
That song has been on repeat all week ! I reckon I nearly broke the button. So after a couple of days with it on my lips as I went to sleep and on them when I awoke . I started asking why ?
What condition am I in?
Holding the mirror up, I didn't like what I saw.
I saw a gaping hole and a disconnection.
I was disconnected from the land, that teaches so much. From spirit that has much to say.
As I returned back to my natural state in the wildness:
No computer, No phone. No power
Drumming and star watching.
Best fucking healing one could ask for.
I felt myself return like a wildfire. My strength, my heart.
As I walked the land, the animal bones pierced my feet, eagle's flew overhead and the creatures of the land came out to play.
A perfect miniature tree with roots, burned by the fires, perfectly preserved to remind that even through burning, we can survive intact.
We may carry scars, but that just add's to the beauty of our wild hearts.
We all have to "drop In" and check our shit from time to time.
I think the key is not to let it go too long , before you do. If you feel a imbalance that's usually the place to start. Find your heart, It may not be in nature. It's anything that makes you feel good ♥
