 Wayfaring Death

Over the past 20 plus years I have been present and assisted with many deaths
with the support and love of family, friends and community.

A death doula/death midwife does not replace the medical profession in any way shape or form.

My knowledge comes from being in the nursing industry, predominately within Aged Care,
with experience from all different cultures & religions working in multicultural facilities.

Death is a natural process, bound by unnatural processes.

 It is multi-faceted.

Knowing yourself and what you can cope with is imperative if you want to work with the dying, family, friends & community.

My intent is to bring this natural work back and teach it with emotional intelligence.

To honour the truth around death.

So that we can understand the dying process again, without fear.

To assist in the ancient art of midwifing the dying and their family, friends and community.

To gain the skills needed to aid and be in service at this threshold.

The soul really is just as magnificent when it is leaving this world as when it is coming in to it.

KEENING CEREMONY
With Julia Ingliss, Kaggi Valentine & Bec Walker

Grief is the ghosted sister. When (we)Julia, Kaggi and Myself hold space for keening, we open up the need to hide and openly grieve what we need to: be it a death of a loved one, a ending of some sort or a life changing event. To let it all out, in a supported, non -judgemental environment.

We wear the veil over our heads in service to ourselves and honouring our grief. Grief comes in many forms and we ghost it. This is not about making others feel comfortable with your grief, It's about honouring yourself .This circle is raw and honest and probably one of the most cathartic and extremely beautiful circles on so many levels that I have ever had the pleasure to be in. Deeply moving and healing .

Next Circle :  TBA

Keening Ceremony  with Julia @sacredfamiliar & Kaggs @13moonsbloodmysteries
🖤 this space is so needed. To openly acknowledge grief in whatever form it manifests. To be supported and held. To honour yourself and own your demons and grief. We three are the space holders - we don’t try to fix you. We have no agenda attached to outcomes of your grief. We don’t judge . We offer the space for your journey into the grief and greet you on the other side. Although it’s in circle ⭕️ it is very individual and everyone’s journey with the dark mothers is different. There’s a lot of talk about empowerment- true empowerment is finding the key within- allowing the space for yourself to delve deep. That’s what we offer, for more info if you feel called into this ancient art of women’s lament.

Check out Julia’s website for details on how to book. www. Sacredfamiliar.com and next circle dates.
